Philosophy:
Being an extremely active person, I’ve always been very cognizant of my health so I can not only be able to do all of my favorite activities but also excel at them. I’ve always loved the gym; being able to go in every day and better myself physically and mentally is an extremely rewarding process.
I’ve never considered being a training professional until I injured my shoulder in 2020. Having to go to a Physical Therapist and a coach there to help me get back to 100% showed me how extremely important having someone with superior knowledge can be. Since then, I have devoted my time to learning and becoming the best trainer I can be. I’m not here to just help you reach your physical goals but also unlock mental blocks and overcome any obstacles that keep you from living life to its full potential.
I believe that hard work pays off and I can’t wait to help you along the way and watch as you surprise yourself and unlock your true potential!

My fitness journey started as a teenager, lifting weights in the basement of my childhood home (and probably annoying my mom to no end with it). While never really interested in sports, I was attracted to the simplicity of weightlifting and the great results I was seeing from it. When not working or working out, I love to play video games, study Japanese, and play with my cat.
Being able to help others discover this love of fitness and to see their own results is a big part of what drives me in this field. I love seeing that look of joy and pride when my clients make progress towards their goals and I am looking forward to helping more people with theirs.

I grew up very goal-oriented with a big desire to help people. As I moved through life, I became a big fan of functional fitness and its impact on overall wellbeing. I attended Purdue University and earned additional certifications in fitness while serving on Active Duty. I prepared fitness plans and programs, coached athletes at a local gym and high school.
In 2021, I experienced a traumatic health event that ended my career in the U.S. Army. Physical health is the sole reason I am still here. I have since made it my goal to help everyone realize their worth on Earth and how important it is to take care of their body. Joining the team at Snap Fitness/Alpha 1 Personal Training has been an amazing opportunity for me. I am excited to help folks reach their true potential, accomplish their goals and see what their bodies are truly capable of!

Philosophy:
Hi, I’m Kelly — a certified personal trainer passionate about helping others build strength, confidence, & a healthy relationship with both food & fitness.
Growing up, I was surrounded by a culture of “quick fixes” — crash diets, detoxes, & an endless pursuit of the next miracle solution. Wellness was often seen as something to chase, not something to live. Those early experiences shaped how I viewed my body & health for years, eventually leading me to battle an eating disorder & body dysmorphic disorder.
It took time, healing, & a complete mindset shift to understand that true wellness isn’t found in restriction or extremes — it’s built on balance, consistency, & self-compassion. Through that process, I learned that strength comes from so much more than appearance.
Now, my mission is to help others break free from the “quick fix” mentality & build a foundation of health that lasts. I focus on sustainable habits, mindful movement, & creating goals that go beyond weight loss — because feeling strong, confident, & capable matters far more than a number on a scale.
As I continue my own journey, I’m now learning to navigate the changes of perimenopause — embracing this new chapter with curiosity, grace, & the understanding that our bodies are constantly evolving. It’s reinforced my belief that fitness & wellness should grow with us, not against us.
Fitness changed my life, not because it gave me a new body, but because it gave me a new mindset. And that’s what I want for everyone I work with — to discover what’s possible when you start showing up for yourself from a place of respect, not punishment.
Let’s build strength, balance, & confidence together — from the inside out.

I have had a passion for fitness and exercise since I can remember. I grew up as a competitive dancer and danced all the way through college. After college I transitioned into a teaching role; creating and running the dance and fitness program for youth at the local YMCA. I absolutely fell in love with this role and the impact I could make! I love being able to help get people moving and expressing themselves through movement. I also love helping people find their own inner strength and have fun along the way. This process isn’t going to work unless you are enjoying what you’re doing!
I want to challenge my clients in every way possible while making them laugh and truly enjoy the journey they are taking. My goal as a trainer is to give my clients the confidence and the knowledge to reach their full potential and achieve the goals they set for themselves.

I’ve had a passion for sports and fitness ever since I picked up a hockey stick for the first time at age 6. I was a goalie for my high school hockey team in Burnsville and went on to play three years of ACHA Division II hockey at the University of North Dakota where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology. Ever since my college hockey career ended, I have been spending a lot of my time on the golf course perfecting my swing. You might even catch me practicing my swing around the gym with an invisible golf club.
After graduating, I took a part time job as goalie coach, which is where I discovered my passion for coaching. This is what led me to get my personal training certification and start my career in the fitness industry. Throughout this process, I have learned so much about the world of exercise and wellness that has helped me see results in my own fitness journey that I’ve never seen before. I’m hoping I can pass on some of that knowledge to my clients and help them get better every day. Whether it’s losing weight, building muscle, or training for the upcoming season, I’ve been through it all and I want to help you crush your fitness goals.

My love and passion for fitness started my senior year of high school all because my cousin came home from overseas and wanted me to go to the gym with him. I quickly prioritized making time for myself to work out and it became the highlight of my day
My first week being hired here I was commuting 4 hours a day from the farm I grew up on in Wisconsin. Fitness has always been a part of my life but before I realized this passion, horses among other animals were my passion. I have competed at the state equestrian level and have held grand champion titles several times.
I’m extremely excited help others find their own passion for fitness.

Philosophy:
My drive to pursue fitness industry started when I was around 15 years old!
As most of us when we were younger; we strived to be different. I found bodybuilding to be unique in the sense of the lifestyle and the commitment that it takes to make lasting progress. For years, I loved just doing my own thing in the gym and for a bit it worked!
But muscle imbalances, inconsistencies in my exercise program and allowing myself to become deconditioned in certain areas was a recipe for disaster.
When I was 26 I experienced a lower back tear while doing an overhead press. Lack of knowledge and not knowing how to tackle this issue; weight gain happened and I found myself sitting at 220 lbs. I found myself in the situation of being overweight and unable to put my own shoes on without being in pain. Being down and out wasn’t an option; that’s when I decided take exercise a bit more seriously and started researching on how to fix myself.
That got the ball rolling and the more I made progress and learned; the more I couldn’t stay away from the gym. It only made sense for me to turn this passion into a career so I obtained my Personal Training Certification and here I am!
I love calisthenics and weight lifting and you’ll probably see me hanging upside quite a bit!

Philosophy:
Being In a military family, I moved around a lot. Sports was always the thing I could rely on when it came to being in a new school with new kids; & I tried every sport I could. I played football & basketball through HS & college, continuing to play basketball after I graduated. Eventually though, it caught up with me & led to two torn ACLs, & an Achillis rupture. As part of my recovery I realized I needed more than basketball, so I focused on weight training & fell in love with it!
Going to the gym was an escape from the grind of office life. Unfortunately, complacency sank in over the years; sitting most of the day, hoping one of our vendors would bring us pizza for lunch. I found myself lacking the motivation & confidence to go to the gym; it felt devastating. With my pants too tight, my empty taco bell bag sitting next to me, & dried cheese in my overgrown beard I realized something needed to change. Taking the first step has always been the hardest for me, but I started going back to the gym. One day turned into two times a week, turned to three times; always wanting to push it farther. My life changed.
The sense of accomplishment & confidence that comes with exercise has a trickle-down effect on every aspect of our lives. We become better fathers, mothers, spouses, sons, daughters. I believe that everyone has the ability to change, & one of the biggest obstacles is getting started. Force yourself to take the first step! Continue on that path and you will achieve goals you never thought possible.
It’s up to you

My journey into health/fitness started differently than most. 16yrs ago I became a young mom and found myself struggling with this new path, resulting in a strain on my physical and mental health. I realized I needed to break the generational cycle and get healthy for myself and my kids!
That is when I discovered Yoga and the Fitness Industry and the combination literally saved my life! I am now more connected and in control of my mind and body than ever before! I knew if I could find a way to change the course of my life then I needed to dedicate myself to helping others find that path!
Thru consistency we will see and feel the physical benefits of fitness of course, but the mental benefits of yoga/health/fitness combined is an indescribable euphoria!!
I recently moved to Minnesota to pursue a career in yoga and personal training and it lead me here, to Alpha 1 Personal Training! I would like to help you find the same love and happiness for fitness and within yourself and your journey as I have found in mine!! If we don’t have a little fun as we challenge our bodies we aren’t doing it right! But that’s just my opinion
Lets walk this path together!

My fitness journey began while battling postpartum depression. The desire to feel better so I could take care of my kids outweighed the desire to stay stuck where I was.
My success story involved having a community of people that held me accountable and challenged me to push a little harder than I believed I could. As I started feeling better I knew that if I could pull myself out that place, I wanted to help one person have that same feeling of empowerment. That’s where I decided group fitness would be my platform to serve people.
I have a Masters Degree in Teaching and a Group Fitness Certification through ACE. I earned my Black Belt in Taekwondo March 2021. Piyo has been one of my favorite formats to teach so when that ended I became Warrior Rhythm & Strength certified.
I always tell participants to bring the body they woke up with and to find options to keep moving during class. I look forward to working with you on your fitness journey. Come say hi if you see me around. Just remember, we all start somewhere and you belong here!

I’m a student-athlete focused on improving every day — both in the gym and in my sport. Training has been a big part of my life, and I spend a lot of time building strength, speed, and explosiveness to perform at a higher level in volleyball. I believe consistency and hard work add up, and I bring that mindset into everything I do.
Through athletics, I’ve had opportunities that pushed me well outside my comfort zone, including competing internationally and studying abroad in Japan. That experience helped me grow, become more independent, and develop a stronger perspective both in sports and in life. Being a team captain has also taught me leadership, accountability, and how to support the people around me.

My journey of life began a bit unconventional. When I was younger, I was having a medical procedure done and while in surgery, I flatlined and technically died. The amazing surgical team was able to bring me back and through several months of physical therapy, I made a full recovery.
I elected to move to Minnesota to pursue my new-found love of health and wellness, wanting to share all the I had learned with others. I was able to land my position as Chief Feline Officer (CFO) with Alpha 1 Personal Training in the fall of 2022. Geoff and Melissa let me know that it was fierce competition, but they noted that it was my intense play drive and amenable personality that afforded me the opportunity to tackle my role.
My day consists of a balance of napping, greeting members and clients, public relation duties, rigorous and methodical inspection of the premises for any irregularities, astute note keeping of items in need of repair and documenting any intruder problems. When not on my rounds or at the front desk, I can usually be found in the office taking one of my 2 -3 naps that is required to keep up with the demanding workload. In addition to being playful and energetic, I am hypoallergenic, which enables me to provide a full range of services to all.
I work Saturdays and some Thursdays so stop by and see me!

My love for fitness started over 10 years ago when I began serving in the United States Army. From the second I touched my first weight and began seeing the changes to my overall health, I was hooked and knew fitness would become a crucial part of my life. If I can help change even one person and see them achieve their overall goal, then I will truly be satisfied. Philosophy:
I’ve been playing sports from the time I could crawl. Growing up with two older brothers as star athletes, my desire to keep up physically was instilled in me from an early age. It still holds true to this day. I played baseball all the way through college, with the full expectation of a professional career. Being coached all my life, I went from being an All-American college athlete to finding myself feeling lost, undisciplined and getting out of shape. Over time, I realized I missed the structure and regimen that came with high level sports. After a period of dead ends and aimlessness, I re-discovered a passion for health and fitness.
I believe that in the society we live in today, the absolute best thing you can do is to take charge of your personal health, both physically and mentally.
I’m here to do my part to help those looking to not just survive, but thrive.
